Dr. Teresa Melton
Dr. Teresa Melton is a Licensed Chiropractic Physician and Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of Illinois and the founder of Allergies, Aches & Pains Chiropractic & Acupuncture Center, Ltd., which she opened in Sycamore in 2002.
Before opening her practice, Dr. Melton spent five years practicing in Elgin and trained under Dr. Jon A. Sunderland, a respected leader in the acupuncture community and longtime mentor. She graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1997 and has continued expanding the office’s services over the years, including the addition of massage therapy.

Sally Riccardi
Sally has been part of the practice since 2010. She enjoys helping patients feel welcome and supported as they begin or continue their wellness journey, and she values being part of a place where holistic care makes a positive difference every day. Outside of the office, Sally is a wife and mom of two who enjoys nature, the outdoors, jewelry making, painting, and DIY projects.
Licensed Massage Therapist
Rachel Graf
Rachel has been with Allergies, Aches & Pains since 2012. With decades of experience serving patients through the practice, Rachel brings a warm, professional, and knowledgeable approach to massage therapy. She graduated from the Kishwaukee Community College Massage Therapy program in 2005 and has additional training and experience in Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Prenatal, Swedish/Relaxation Massage, and Aromatherapy.
Licensed Massage Therapist
Amanda Aten
Amanda graduated from Everest College in 2007 and brings over a decade of experience to Allergies, Aches & Pains. She specializes in Deep Tissue, Swedish/Relaxation, and Prenatal Massage, offering personalized care based on each patient’s needs. Amanda’s warm, attentive approach helps create a comfortable and restorative experience, whether patients are seeking relief from muscle tension, relaxation, or support during pregnancy.

Where We Started
Allergies, Aches & Pains Chiropractic & Acupuncture Center began in 2002 at 130 Fair Street in Sycamore, where Dr. Teresa Melton transformed a former dairy barn into the practice’s first chiropractic office.
Built on local care
A Welcoming First Home for the Practice
The unique space reflected the practice’s early roots: local, welcoming, and centered around personalized care for the community. What started as a small office focused on chiropractic and acupuncture steadily grew through long-term patient relationships and word-of-mouth referrals.

Continued Care in Sycamore
As the practice continued to grow, Allergies, Aches & Pains relocated in 2016 to its current downtown Sycamore office at 206 W Elm St, allowing for expanded services and continued care for the local community.
Today, the practice serves individuals and families throughout the Sycamore area through chiropractic care, acupuncture, massage therapy, and wellness-focused treatment options.
